Hi, I wanted to get clarified on how bricking works.

Can bricking be fixed?
Does bricking void the warranty?
Will Nintendo repair my bricked console if there is homebrew on it?
If i have the homebrew channel on my wii and use a game with a newer version that is my region will it brick my wii?
TY in advance

Bricking can be fixed if you're a bad a** solderer and you reflash your Wii's NAND chip.

You can only brick your Wii by running code that modifies the system software, or by running an update from another region's game. You can only do these 2 things if you have modified your Wii in anyway. That modification voids your warranty.

Nintendo may repair your console, but you'll have to pay.

The only thing a future update would do is erase the homebrew channel or make it unusable. It won't brick.
