I'm thinking about installing it, but I wanna know what problems people have had with the alpha. And what system menu are you on?

I tried riskii (think that was the old name for it?) and works perfectly fine. Backups through the disc channel and complete region free. Havnt experienced any problems yet.

I have softmii. I had to go from 3.3 to 3.2 but other than that, everything works like it says.
Awesome program

Go all you consumed out there, this Softmii program package is good. Really good espesially for downgrading from system menu 3.4. I haven't downgrade yet but, when I buy zelda again, well...launch commenced.

Softmii is very reliable and i recommend using a guide from youtube if you need help. Soon many custom system menus will be out, you dont have to boot from somewhere else cuz it shows it on disc ch. u can move it. it is awesome. i recommend it.

okay. So im trying to get it running because everybody said to get it. But I get to the "Preloader Installation" stage, I run preloader, and it just stays on the disclaimer screen. I hit each button on the wiimote once, but to no avail. Please help. How do I install preloader?

If you're running version .26 then you have to press in the following code:
A, right, 1, Up, B, Right, Up, 2, 2, A
If you're running .27 then:
home, A, Right, Down, left, up, minus, plus
Hope that helps!

I was having the same problem...
Thanks so much!
EDIT:
It hasn't worked.
Help...?
EDIT:
I searched somewhere else and it said '
minus A Right 1 Up B Right Up 2 2 A'.
I'll try that...
EDIT:
THAT HASN'T WORKED EITHER! *curses*
I've been trying it with PreLoader v0.26, where can I find v0.27?
EDIT:
I've found v0.28, but can't find v0.27... can someone PLEASE help me?
EDIT:

Maybe I should just try Starfall (all I want to do is skip disc updates).
EDIT:
Yay! Starfall worked! I can once again play Animal Crossing/Brawl, etc on my Wii.
Although I didn't quite understand the purpose of some of the things I could have installed with Starfall (e.g. what's BGM?)
BMG
