Brewology

Hi im new to the wii scene . I have a ps2 and and all my games are scratched from my kids. I decided to do the Zelda hack so i could make backup's of my original's. Im from South Africa and games are expensive . I just bought the call of duty world at war (R580).
Ive used rawdump to dump the image (i have the lg8163b rom drive) the dump went fine. then i used the wiibrickblocker.
I burnt the iso game with nero on dvd and tried Gecko OS, and Homebrew Disc Loader v0.3 and they didnt work. im using dvd+r's could that be the problem??

DVD+Rs might be the problem, when I want to backup one of my games I use Sony's DVD-R (I have an lg drive too). I play them through Wishizzza combined bacukp loader and everything works just fine.

Hi again, the best you can do is downgrade your firmware version to 3.2, there is a tutorial to do it in this forum.

To find the wiishizza cbl you'll have to google it 'cause I don't know if I can post links to others sites in this forum.

PS. Do you have a modchip?

I might try to backup my Wii gAmEZ.

I remember how frustrated I was when my GameCube TS2 disk would no longer work... (I lost my greatest game T_T)
