Make your external hdd available on your network, SMB, etc..

Had a few drinks and modded my wii last night *pat on back*, but I'd like to know if I can make the hard drive attached to my wii (via usb loader) available on my network. More importantly is there any way to setup something SMB-esque for file transfers and streaming?
