D2C Chipset Released
Somewhat old news, but never-the-less...
Nintendo has apparently released a revision to the DMS, D2A, D2B chips... the D2C. Current modchips do not work on the D2C chip. There are various speculations on why this is... the inner traces of the chip have change, or it may just have a different password. As of now, I have only seen 1 post about the D2C actually being seen, a poster on WiiNewz from the Netherlands. Most of what is being seen now are D2B chips with 3 important legs of the chip cut off, forcing moders to take extra effort in making mods for these systems work.
