Current updates
I have created this thread to announce new Wii system updates. Whenever a new update is released, I or somebody else will post what number it is and what it does. The most current version is 3.1, and enables the user to use a USB keyboard for the Internet Channel and Everybody Votes Channel. Also, at version 3, Nintendo made it so that the Action Replay no longer works, and updating a modded system can cause a brick, so watch out. If I missed anything just post it.
NEW: The Wii shop channel has been updated to allow for "gifting" of VC games or WiiWare software. With this, you can buy another Wii owner a channel or software. The Photo channel has been updated to play aac codec music, you can also set a photo as the channel icon on the menu.
