Risks of the homebrew channel, help

I already have homebrew channel and many wads on the main screen of my wii, can my wii go down if i connect it to internet or anything like that?, please someone answer

Just as drunkpunk said, you are fine. As of now Nintendo has done nothing to try and stop homebrew channel detecting, and it is unlikely they will in the near future.

They haven't taken any action, but they can definately see what you do. I had a problem with my internet channel and they were able to remotely add it back onto my system. Kinda freaked me out, but nothing happend, so I haven't worried about it.
