Tetris party keeps freezing

I was playing this with some friends and everything was going ok, until we tried playing hot-lines.

I'm not sure what the excact cause is, it seems like sometimes it just freezes about 10 to 20 seconds into the round or when an item is used.

I tried doing some experiments and it seems like the other modes are ok (we were previously playing field climber with no problem) and we played this one before without a problem.

When it does freeze, I have to unplug my wii entirely to get it back. Right now it's not online, and we were playing a 3 player match, everyone on a different team.

Has anyone else had this problem or knows how to fix it.

I can pretty much rule out a connection issue because of the fact it's not online (when I played it before(when it didn't freeze) it wasn't online either)

I'm nt sure it would be my wii either since none of the other games seem to have any issues, including other channels that are installed.

The only other thing is the game file itself, but if it was that, wouldn't other people be having the same issue? (I'm not 100% sure how the channel downloads work)

Also could something be corrupt with the save file?

If you bought it form the store, I would suggest redownloading it. If it is a pirated wad, find another copy.

Nah, Wii remotes are quite simply hell to connect.
