Who's a Wii user?

Hey guys, just wondering who has a modded Wii here. After a long time of having no Gamestop credit I'm starting to finally build some up through cheap trades. I'm at $100 right now and need $100 more. I'm cool with the manager there who will let me see the Wii I'll be getting beforehand so I don't waste trips. Maybe we can even play each other online once I get into the Wii modding scene myself!

EDIT: Oh yeah, minor question. Can MicroSD with SD adapters work with the Wii? I'd rather not get a large SD card if I can just use a spare 4 GB or something. They don't have to be that Wii brand SD card either right?

I think the micro card with an adapter would work just fine. Double check me, but I think it works. I don't have a Wii myself.

I don't want to sound like an a$$, I really don't mean to but why don't you post this question on Wii Brew instead of under general chat? There would be more focus there and it would be the place where others with the same questions could benefit from the answers you receive.

I was thinking about it but it seemed like just a general question. There's nothing specific at all.

I don't have a Wii but I think it would be a good idea if you get it modded. The wii is a good system. I was thinking about getting my mom one.

I have a modded wii and enjoy it very much. I use a 2GB microSD with adapter and it works just great. Might want to double check on using a 4GB, there may be a data cap since some devices are like that. Once you get one, lets exchange friend codes for some Mario Kart action!

JustinWoodypond you play Mario Kart Wii online? I will be soon. When I get it, I would like someone to play online. Do you also play Super Smash Bros. Brawl? If so could you post your friend code please? I've already posted mine. I would love to play a friend in Smash Brawl.
