hmmm, sounds like an internet error.
first, check your disc. then reset your ps3
after trying those, reset your internet (wireless, try your router first) then try your modem.
if that all doesnt work, make sure your PS3 is up-to-date and if all that ends up hoplessly failing, the GT5 update server might be down. or your internet sucks. does everything else update fine? try updating later in the day.
