questions with jailbreaking

atm there is 2 downgrade methods from 3.5... one will set you back $90 (psjailbreak) other is $15 (E3). currently no free methods are out.. i figure in about 2 weeks, an open source will be released to the public. so just hang in there if you do not want to spend money... also dont upgrade any further. we do not know if sony is able to patch this downgrade method yet.
Update... psgrade is out... so if you have a programming board of your chose, you can change its flash to the psgrade. be careful. some people end up with out bluray... so 3 options.
down grade to a really early firmware, then upgrade to 3.41
down grade with the altered jb pup 3.41 but you will need a backup of your dev_flash3
down grade with a normal 3.41 fm
also make sure you backup all your saves and stuff on a usb... it is going to erase every thing.

Posted: Fri Jan 07, 2011 10:32 pmi just waited and upgraded to 3.55 by accident a week ago and now i have cfw which is almost the same/ so this forum is answered but not to be erase because of the valuable info for others
