I have the save game but i cant copy it from my ps3... sorry. anyone know how i can do this?

Do you have a usb flash drive? Or a PSP?

yes the problem is when I actually copy the file, a message pops up saying the game save is not copyable. same with Need for Speed: Pro Street

Thats weird. I actually just backed mine up tonight. See if any of these steps differ from what you are doing.

1. Plug USB drive into the PS3
2. Go to your game saves and hit triangle
3. Select Copy
4. the drive should show up now and you select it.
5. wait for the save to be copied

If none of that works try browsing to PS3Brew.com on your ps3 browser and see if you can upload it straight from there.

"copying of this save data is not allowed"- message I get when I try to copy it. I have backups of allof my games but this one. I have dial up so i cant use my ps3 online.

Ok via google I found that NFS Carbon has a lock on copying save data. There is no way to remove the protection but you can bypass it kinda. Go to Settings>System Settings>Backup Utility>Back Up. There you can create a backup of everything on your HDD including the NFS:C game saves.
