What do you guys think about this? Now you can use memory cards or sticks with the new Slim PS3. What do you guys think? I would definitely get this if I had a PS3.

Seems like a nice idea, shame i have a 7 port USB 2 hub >.<

Only memory card i own fits in to my PSP so no need to an adapter there :(

Nice idea though

Still would be nice for Slim owners. I hate that Sony keeps taking things away from the consumers. I mean removing Ps2 compability?

All consoles should be backwards compatible (with the exception of Dreamcast, Saturn etc, as their programming was completely different).

I mean the fact they insist on taking the 60gb off the shelves, rather than leave you an option is ridiculous. Also this mandatory firmware business is really annoying. I mean these are supposed to be consoles, you buy a game and play it. No hassle. This generation of gaming is becoming more like PC gaming and less like console.

i do agree that console gaming is turning into something similar to pc gaming. I guess thats what the internet brings to consoles tho.

Re: Datel Releases PS3 Add-On For More USB Ports and Card Sl

My main problem is the hoops you have to jump through, just to do simple things with your console. They should allow you to download saves and cheat, they should allow you to play games without having to forcefully update your consoles operating system, all of this is like imprisonment.

We paid for a slice of console heaven. If we wanted to waste time and hard drive space, we'd all take up PC Gaming.

Re: Datel Releases PS3 Add-On For More USB Ports and Card Sl

No company wants their products stolen, so, they block ISO loaders and people from bricking their consoles with these updates. They aren't doing it to annoy you, but to protect their products.
