PSJailbreak Reverse Engineered To Show That....

A German gaming site called GameFreax has reverse engineered a PSJailbreak (that little USB drive that allows you to rip PS3 games and play 'em) to show that the way the hack works, there is no way to update it to continue to work on later PS3 firmwares. This means that you have to buy a new PSJailbreak model every time Sony blocks the use of it. I don't know if the new PS3 firmware blocks the use of it, but there is some words floating around that Sony cannot block it unless the implement a whole new system of loading data from the USB. My guess is that they can't block it unless they also block USB-based PS3 accessories and devices like the connection for the PS3 to PSP or PlayTV.

Lol... i didn't say sign up. Just check out that guys page... Dont expect them to be shipping soon. They've apparently taken a look at the code and will be optimizing it. I'm sure when they're done you'll be able to buy the parts for cheap and build a reprogrammable version of what they're selling.

Everyting is out Grab Teensy ++ Board and u can self program one yourself....

They will be optimizing and porting to modded psp at some point supposively but i just grabbed a teensy and gonna go that route to make sure i can always update it right away but that said....

It can be patched math. said so no clue how this will all work out.

Also the free version doesnt have the backup manager so u cant back up games but there is already another version out that re enables that for u

yeah ordered my Teensy ++ drunk last night sooo should be here soon and the Backup Manager (not ISO ) has already been reinstated just got to look around real easy to fine. Soon it will be able to just load of a PSP so thats cool but i want the board easy to flash and will be up to date.

BUT Math says can be updated to block with FW update so that blows but ..... this just blew the doors wide open just a matter of time now but should have hombrew as early as next week or so as ive read. some already have things developed since the got the jailbreak early

people still need to stay on the hacking front. This will now start a wave of games on the PS3 with firmware checks. Without custom firmware we'll need a way to disable those checks.

yeah but not one of the developers i have talked to said anything about wanting to enter that cat and mouse game...

and now they porting to android phone lol
