PS2 Classics Manager and SSD vs HDD

Started using PS2 Classics Manager to encrypt Iso.
Whole game is encrypted on hard drive (SSD vs HDD).

I notice cut scenes on PS2 games lag.

Has anyone researched SSD vs HDD with its relationship to lag times in cut scenes using PS2 Classics Manager?

Examples:
Viewtiful Joe
Viewtiful Joe 2
BMX XXX

Please comment with research you have personally performed. No speculation please.

Re: PS2 Classics Manager and SSD vs HDD

SSD and HDD are two different storage technologies with their own advantages and limitations. In this case, using SSD or HDD will affect the delay time during cutscenes using PS2 Classics Manager, i.e. how long the system has to wait to access data from the drive. slope
