I recommend only one movie off the bat, Akira.

It's one of two actual PSP UMD Movies that I have in my "physical" collection.

If I may jump on this thread as well, I need some new movies. having lived in Japan for 2 years I'm totally out of the movie loop. Any good movies that are on DVD so I can get my magical fairies to bring them to me that have released this year or last year would be fantastic.

Even though you suggested movies, are add some Anime, Series, and etr etr:
Naruto/Naruto Shippuuden Gona take you along time to catch up though, as there are about 400 Episodes but i HIGHLY recommend it, as a long term fan its worth the download.
Smallvile, Superman type Series, Awesome.
Scrubs, no words to describe its godly awesomeness
Will be editing with more Shows i just can't remember them L.
Once you get into naruto also, watch the movie's.
Warning: Please do not watch the UK/USA version of naruto its like getting a game From Xbox360 then shuving straight onto wii, you just downgrade everything, its Horrible. all he ever says is "Believe it" and it totaly ruins it, and gives Naruto a bad name.
I would also Recommend Bleach, i haven't watched it but apparently its good.

Movies i recommend:
Waterboy
Scary movies 1/2/3/4
Saw 1/2 (watching 3 tonight)
Pokemon movies, but im sad L.
Naruto/Naruto Shippuden
The Ring
Matrix, Matrix Reloaded, Matrix revolutions
Click
Of Mice and Men (i also recommend the book only book ive read in along while for English and it is good read, would probaly take about 2-3 hours to read but as your older then me, probaly like 1-2)
Like i said before once i remember more i shall Edit this post, as i don't double post :-)
