I need a webcam. Who wants to help me find one for $10 - $20 USD??
My girlfriend and I are going to be moving to college up north and we won't be able to see each other everyday.
I want one that is preferably more than 1 MP.

I'm only giving the password to certain people. Don't worry, it's completely safe. You could hack through it, though. If you wanted. The security of it is really, really basic.

Yet, I digress.... I've seen this in my searchings the last few days and several others. How good is 1.3 MP? Does anyone have a 1 MP camera that can tell me how well the tracking is and how well it prevents lagging?

the camera itself won't cause lag... it's going to be your internet connection. If the camera's resolution is too high for your connection, it's going to be crap. For webcam's you don't really need the best resolution because you're filming what's directly in front of it. It doesn't need too much detail because usually the background is irrelevant.

I used to have a crap one and I just don't want it to be like that one.

I got one for a couple of dollars, amazing, then a couple of months later, one day, the recording became blurry by magic...

Yeah. I did. It's a Microsoft HD one. I got it for $40.

Well good, the ones that I have are older models with grainy resolution. I guess Ma and Pa will be able to count your zits with that webcam eh?

Why would I want to talk to them? They are the reason why I moved in the first place.
