Anyone know why it does this? Its crazy and I hate it. It just does it sometimes..and after a while it will stop and go back to normal. Sometime "Repeater" gives me internet access and sometimes Repeater 2 does. When they are both there im outa luck as well as if its the wrong one at the time. (this router is repeating off of my main Linksys router...which happens to do the same dang thing)

I call on the Brewology to fix this..Brewology, Unite!

P.S. Iv tried different computers and they do the same thing
P.S.S. They are running DDWRT :)

i assume repeater and repeater 2 are different routers. (so you have 3. 1 master and 2 repeaters?)

What kind of router is it? You can usually connect and edit the router settings wirelessly.
Sometimes you can use an ethernet cable to connect directly to it to do the same.

MM- Nah 2 Routers. ! Linksys 1 Repeater (Buffalo something..)

Linksys is primary.

Crait-Yep tried that. Figured there might be another repeater or Linksys in the area and renamed it something random and it still happened. Tried both wirelessly and ethernet.

Diehard- Delete one network? Like the setting or take 1 router out of the equation all together? I tried both
Also, its not their problem since its not their modem..

I guess my question is why is there two APs named Repeater? Also do you have multiple wireless cards? How is it saying you are connected to both at the same time?

The AP name of the Router is a single name called "Repeater" not 2.

Also, nope, 1 wireless card that came with my Dell E1505 so many years ago. But like I said, my sisters Compaq (piece of crap..) does it as well as my parents laptop.

Do you know how to prioritize your wireless networks? Do that with the stronger network. Otherwise delete one of the wireless networks from the ones that auto connect. it should fix your issue.

Neither are on autoconnect but yea Iv tried that too :(

Il prioritize Linksys (not even Linksys 2) and Linksys 2 will STILL connect sometimes. And then, randomly, it will work for a few weeks. Like now.
