Hello there by the way.

Anyways what do you guys think of this being realized? By realizing this "unstable" version just a day before the other dev teams it mean A. Apple now is able to patch 2 exploits in one shot and B. He is basically fighting against the other teams, why not help them?

I agree. Pois0n is going to be great, and should be released within the next day or two. Put off Limera1n until later! :O
Sounds retarded to me.

Great to see you posting, dude. B-)

All this does is screw us consumers in the long run. It sucks..oh well we'll find another exploit

Exactly, no code is perfect so it will always be there. Look at the impossible to crack Blu-Ray HDCP.

I think the fact of the matter is not how many there are, but more so how they all accomplish the same task through different means. The end result is the same, a jailbroken iDevice. If they made 100 different jailbreaking programs that used X exploit that is entirely fine. The more the merrier. But when they make 100 different jailbreaking programs with 100 different exploits is when the consumer is hurt because, in this case, Apple can patch the 100 different exploit holes in its next release and we have to go searching again...where as in the next release the jailbreaking team would just use 1 of the 99 left.

Competition in this case is killing the consumer..not helping.

*This is not to say people on this board did not understand this point already (as it is quite obvious). Just the passer going through and seeing this might deem it important.

This reminds me of whenever I was helping with an MP3 exploit. Never worked the way we wanted it to, but it was leaked out so even if we did get it to work, Sony would have patched it up whenever they patched the TIFF exploit in the ol' 2.7 days...
