That battery from deal extreme works, thats how I got my PSP running homebrew. You can just get the battery alone (wtihout the 4gig stick, which isn't magic) for 10.50 from DE

So if I were to buy this Battery, could I just pop it in and downgrade to 1.50? Would I need a properly formatted Stick first inserted?
