Well im VERY new at this whole psp brewing stuff (basically no idea what i am doing haha), and hope to get into it.. I'm going to be getting the slim psp (daxter pack) for christmas.. So if anyone could link me to some posts on here that will help me on my way, that would be nice. Thanks:)

Hey welcome to the site, well first I guess if you want to be able to use homebrew and get on custom firmware and all that, then you will have to downgrade down to a lower firmware. Well since you will be getting a slim, you will need to use this tutorial in order to downgrade. However it requires the use of a psp with CFW(Custom Firmware) on it, or 1.50.
So you might have to buy the required accessories in order to downgrade, or send a phat psp battery and a memory card to someone and have them make one for you.

My brother has the old "fat" psp, and version 3.72 on it if that helps any...
