Why hello there! =P

Hey everyone

My name is Jer and I'm new to these forums (duh). I'm a 23yo recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh and currently working as a Control Systems Engineer for a company called FL Smidth INC in PA. My job will involve a lot of travel, which is why I picked up my PSP Slim in December as a graduation present to myself. :D

However, I have not put custom firmware on my PSP and I WANT TO very much so. =P  Yeah, I could send it out. But why? I'm an Engineer...I want to do things like this myself...so call me arrogant but I think it's fun to break the rules and do something cool with a piece of technology as beautiful as the PSP.

Okay, enough with the lame-ness. What's up to you all! :P Look for my post in the questions / tutorials section about homebrewing my slim, or just reply to me here. I will have a phat PSP available (not homebrewed) and of course my slim to start the homebrewing process.

Thanks all! :)

Welcome to the site, you're going to love the stuff a PSP can do, I guarantee it.

This is a sig. You may think that there is something to it, but in fact it is just an ordinary sig.

Hey. Welcome to the brewery. I'm curious as to what your job involves. I'm currently studying Industrial Automation Controls in a vocational electricity/electronics class. I've been working with PLCs (programmable logic controllers) and been busting my donkey to understand all of the circuit logic. I wonder if your career is similar to this?
