Hey guys, my name is Wes, but the internet knows me as KamiDaHobo! I'm 24 and have been a gamer since the age of 6, so it's technically a part of my DNA, I think. I've owned every console since the Atari 2600 (yes, including the 3D0, Jaguar, and Lynx!), and loved something about all of them (except the Jaguar).

Currently when I'm not spending all of my time on Steam, I'm a freelance games journalist that has worked with everyone from Digg, Platformers.net, No Quarter Productions, Oranjive.com, TeamHomp.com, Penny Arcade, and recently created a new site with a good friend, called Nitrobeard.

I love talking about anything and everything gaming related, and I've heard from various sources that the community here is great, so I can't wait to meet you all! Also, is the greatest smilie on the planet.

@AdventWolf: Yeah, I was born and bred into the hobby, I guess! Anything Seth Green is stellar, by the way.

@crait, airplanes18: I think my favorite system would have to be the Genesis, simply because during the 16-bit era, all of my friends had the SNES, but I was the lone warrior with my "Genesis does what Nintendon't" posters! Also, my favorite OS has to be WinXP, because it was the first time I really started learning how to alter registries and do UI mods. My favorite phone, honestly, is one that I can text on. I know next to nothing about phone tech! In the upcoming years, though, I'll probably get more into the scene, as it were.

If you plan on getting into the phone scene, you're in the right place. There's a bunch of people here who know a bunch about a lot of different kinds of phones. So, whatever kind of phone you have, we'll be able to help you out.

Awesome! Right now I have a very basic Pantech, but it fits my needs fairly well. I'm really wanting to do the whole iPhone thing, if only for the gaming capabilities of it. Plus, it's a super sexy device as-is.
