I'm usac5, new to this hobby. I have been involved with testing XBOX. PS1, & Satellite TV, so this is a new 1 for me. Nah I think there both extremely easy. Atleast all xbox 1's can be softmodded, not all PSP's can be downgraded :p I haven't touched my xbox in forever though. But yea, If you can mod an xbox, you can mod a psp. If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.
