i dont want to unbrick or gooosh up my psp though thta would void the warranty

you can't really do anything w/o voiding the warranty. does downgrading void the warranty? cuz you could get to v1.50 and play homebrew, but then you wouldn't be able to play any game really with that low of a firmware. so you'd need to upgrade to a custom firmware, but that would void the warranty. And "unbricking" is a good thing
. If you where to mess up your psp by trying to downgrade it, then that would void the warranty too i think.

If you ever have to send it back,which with pandora there really isnt a reason, just use pandora and upgrade to like 2.70 and send it in. They will never know the difference.

I didnt mean that actually.They SOMETIMES send it back without upgrading. So no, not 3.71. If you send it in with say 2.7 or less you can downgrade without a game once you get it back.
ALSO, keep the pandora battery and stick as the unbricker so if they do send it back with 3.72 or so you can downgrade it right back to 1.50.
