Obviously I did read the tutorial.
You also said, ''others may work, but I can't guarantee they will.''
Therefore, I gave the 4GB a shot.
So, you're saying if I get a Memory Stick ranging from 200mb to 1GB, it will work?
I hope so, because I've spent so much frikken money on trying to make it work..
Thanks for the help.

Haha same...I tried making my 4GB a magic memory stick and it would be sad if it wasn't a magic memory stick and it wouldn't work which atm it isn't...I need to redo it.

Well, I just bought a 1GB Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo.
And guess what?
It still doesn't work.
It still gives me the green power light, and a black screen.
It's exactly the same like with the 4GB stick.
wooo, 20 euro's wasted.
Can you try to help now?

There's no point in asking if your memory stick will work... I can't guarantee if any stick will work, just try it. You can up your chances of it working by not having a large memory stick, and knowing that it is a name brand stick and not a chinese clone.

If you are referring to this http://img107.imageshack.us/my.php?image=fatbeb3.jpg then yes.
There is not supposed to be any connection between the two metal parts so there cannot be any current.

NewbieasyInstaller ?

Hello,
I’m trying to create the memory stick using the TOTALNewbieasyInstaller and in the middle of the operation I’ve got this menu:
Choose Pandora-Menu.
1. Fat Pandora (Original FAT Pandora menu)
2. FAT ext complete (Extended Pandora menu, HellCat's ext. menu Start up with WLAN/WIFI = OFF)
3. Slim Pandora (SLIM Pandora menu for FW 3.60)
4. Universal Unbricker (Universal Unbricker for FAT and SLIM)
It's also an 3.71 M33 CFW installer!
5. Exit
Now I’m confused which one to choose. Note that I’m currently running SONY 3.8 firmware and my psp is PSP-1003.
Could any one help me to choose .
Regards.
Yasser

quick question, i have a slim psp, and i followed everything closely, and i got to the point in the video where i installed 3.71 m33. then it shut off by itself. but when i turn it back on it just has the install menu again. i dont know how to make it look like a normal interface where i can connect to usb , play games, etc.

zeruff, did you put the normal battery back in? Try starting it without a ms inserted.

yasser: I'm just telling you what I did, here's a link to my forum post. I don't know if it should matter if it's bricked or not, but really that's the only option that could possibly apply to you.

I got back from holiday.
Gave it another go.
I still get the green power light and a black screen.
Nothing else.
I've tried using my build-in card reader and via usb connection.
I think something is going wrong with the creating of the magic memory stick.
Could someone PLEASE just make a folder with all the necesary files in it, so I can just open the folder and paste those files in my MS, and upload that?
This is driving me crazy..

hey suway, do what I did, where I unrar'd the uniunbr.rar file then copied the entire contents to my properly formatted memory stick. Really after doing a bit more analyzing of how they all work, the only reason most of the 'normal' methods such as desparter el cementerio don't work is due to the lack of the msipl.bin. However the msipl.bin exists within the uniunbr.rar file, but you will also have to manually write the msipl.bin with the msinst.exe command, which can be found in the original pandora release.
