This is my first tutorial, so dont be too hard on me.

first off, heres a list of things you will need:

Your ISO or CSO image

UMD GEN v4.00

and an eboot patcher, located in pspbrews own download section

first off, have a folder named "temp for eboots on your desktop" makes it easy to track them

open your UMD GEN. select your iso or cso file

CSO FILES NEED TO BE DECOMPRESSED. USE THE UMD GEN TO DO SO.

now open up the PSP_GAME folder and then open SYSDIR. inside is your eboot.bin

right click and extract the eboot to the folder i had you make. openn your eboot patcher and have it patch the eboot you just extracted. go back to your UD GEN and drag and drop the patched eboot to your SYSDIR folder. it will ask if you want to replace it. do it.

now that your iso is in one peice again, recompress that sucker into a CSO and run it. it should work.

1. Open the PBOOT.PBP file using PBP Unpacker or some similar tool.
2. Unpack/extract DATA.PSP and PARAM.SFO.
3. Rename DATA.PSP — which is usually encrypted with 0×2e5e10f0 — to EBOOT.BIN.
4. Copy EBOOT.BIN to ms0:/enc and run PSPCipher like any other homebrew.
5. Open your game ISO with WQSG_UMD.
6. Replace EBOOT.BIN with the newly decrypted EBOOT. (If you’re using Prometheus then name it EBOOT.OLD.)
7. Replace PARAM.SFO with the one from PBOOT.PBP.
8. Save your ISO and try it out.
