You will need a fat PSP and a newer version of IRShell to use your PSP as a universal remote. If you aren't able to get it working with the latest IRShell version, then I'm afraid it won't work. You'd then have to look to programs for the PSP like IR Commander, which really didn't work well for me.

GOT IT

I firmwares finally figured it out, since IR SHELL 3.7 is compatable for 3.71M33 CFW, I googled "ir shell", and i was able to get an updated version of this homebrew. The current version is 3.9 and is considerably lengthy to install, however all you need to do is install IRSHELL3.9 then add a 3.90M33 patch provided on the website, then place it under ms0:\IRSHELL\PATCH. Just Google it, the installation instructions found on irshell.org should be easier to understand.

PS: I'm really happy with my phat, no matter how thin the Slim gets...

That made me think of the new apple laptop that is like 1/4 thick. Maybe there will be a psp that skinny lol. Or at least big enough to stick a UMD in it. Anyways so you got the Universal Remote working?

They're called pronto hex codes. I think IRShell comes with many of the common ones, but if you need something in particular, goto this website and you should be able to find anything you want.

What make/ model tv are you trying to find a code for? I will look for it when I have some spare time. Some are pretty hard to find.
