I don't see the point in throwing down more money for this model. There were tons of improvements done on the fat when the slim was released making the slim a worthy purchase.

Waste of money in my opinion.

I think the starting price of them is $169.99 (same as what the slim sells for at the moment) I doubt anyone who already owns a psp is gonna go out and buy a new one anyways...i know i've only purchased one, got a second one as a fix up for $40, 3rd is a slim that my friend just gave to me cause she dropped it...but i cant say that i would go out and purchase an "update" of a handheld model i already own that still functions fine. It's like owning an original ps2 and going out to purchase the slim ps2 or owning a ps1 and purchasing the compact ps1...same system, they all do the same thing just a different shape/size.

Hopefully some good updates come with the firmwares when this 3000 model is released though.

its stupid really. a microphone? brighter screen? thats IT? my guess is that they'll release a new psp ever year till there 'make the psp last 10 years" thing goes up. so expect a 4000 maybe even a ten 10000. and maybe someday if we are REALLY good we'll get the camera and GPS

well it makes sense to buy one if you dont have a psp...

There already are camera's and GPS devices for the PSP, called the chotto shot and i cant remember what they name the GPS but i'm pretty sure theyre available in the UK and Asian countries.

i know they exist man i have the chotto shot taken apart on my table. wha i meant is HERE in the U.S. and canada
