Time machine on a phat.

Can anyone tell me the purpose of running "Time Machine" on a phat?

Well that article really didn't answer my question.

I know "Time Machine" is intended to run on a slim, that is why I was curious if there was a reason to put it on a phat. A phat already has the capability to run the 1.50 kernel so I was wondering if anyone knew any other reason to load that program on a phat.

I ask because I was working on a phat that bricked and I suspect "Time Machine" had something to do with it.

Not that I'm aware of, although I have never made one or looked into it much. I'd suggest just using good ol' Pandora on a phat.

Well of course!

So it is safe to say that "Time Machine" does not belong on a phat and that it likely contributed to the bricking?

Possibly, I have no idea. I wouldn't think so because it just takes you to a certain firmware. Not a slim - specific setting.

Hmm.

Well I can see the need for this on a slim but I don't really see the need for it on a phat especially with Pandora available.
