M33 vs GEN (just need a few details)

I haven't really been in the current PSP scene as of late, just dived into the CPS/NEO emus for old times sake. I'm rocking 5.00 M33 right now and have had no issue with it. I've read that GEN is worth the upgrade, but only for the auto-patching of some games. Is there anything else it does that is worth it? Helkat updated his flasher, so it'd be much easier to update now. The only thing that is stopping me is compatibility issues and the loss of cxmb. Will that be an issue? Thanks!

actually there is a cxmb for 5.50 gen-d as well.... One thing your going to hate about 5.50 gen-d is that there is no online play...

There is a homebrew that fixed that already, so that is no big deal.
