its all tempting, but we can already do all that and have been able to for a while, who cares if its a bit easier? Thats all they did, make things easier. The only people they will drag out of the hacking community are those that are teh n00bs.

Actually, unless you coincidentally like Wipeout Pure or that Derby game and have it off your memstick, there still isn't an internet browser. There's also extra movie options I don't recall in any homebrews and extra formats and codecs that no homebrews have done with yet.

It's new. Everyone will eventually get over it and either the stupid ones will upgrade it..or the smart ones, leave it at 1.50

There really is no difference between that browser and the Wipeout Pure Browser at all.

Really? Have you used the wipeout browser?
To me, it is the worst browser they could have ever put, it is not even intended for browsing anywhere but wipeout site..

There is no direct URL input, there is no ERROR or 401 etc compatibility (if it cannot find a site, or if there is a popup or if any error, or just times out) it goes back to the portal or just crashes, no flash support, no display of the current URL or overlaying of images... It is a toy..

It seems like sony did a total browser with what they offer, look at the menu, i dont know what it says but probably back forward home menu favorites, etc..

If I had bunch of games that I had purchased previously, I would go update right now (or whenever it is available for US) but too bad that I would never spend $50 for more than 1 or 2 of the current PSP titles... and that possibilities of homebrew are endless.. Check my other topic about the homebrew browser.

Except for you know, the fact that it's more optimized, there's a bottom tool bar, a popdown list that appears when you're writing, there isn't any wipeout pure music in the background, it can handle more languages and it's accessible through the main menu.

not quite a tv. The site they went to is supposed to be some kind of "Portable TV" service, which is only availible in Japan which allows you to download videos that is a website for japan only called

here is the video if you want to watch it, they downloaded a 200MB file in seconds!
