A tip, when soldering.. be sure to use some solder flux paste. Just brush the part you are gonna solder, heat up your gun, melt some solder on the tip and then solder the area quickly. Using the solder flux paste make solder melt faster in the joints.

Here's a tip for you all on Soldering.

Go to the dollar store.
Buy crappy radios, lights, etc. (Things with chips are better though)
Buy Iron.
Buy Solder.
Buy Flux.
Buy Hammer.
Open crappy electronics (with hammer, or a screw driver if you are all careful and stuff..)
De-Solder Stuff and solder it back.

Do this for a bit until you can do it without frying stuff.
Practice makes perfect..

But seriously, if your gonna solder for the first time REALLY do the above a couple times, it will help. Also Have a little clothe or paper towel or something handy. Wet it down so it is damp (not soaking wet), and after each solder joint 'put the fire out' so to speak, or in other words use the damp clothe to cool the joint.

Ohh and be Quick. Don't linger on the joint or you'll fry the chips..

The best solution is to have a friend or a shop you can go to that knows what they are doing.

But really even though it has been said, many, many MANY times before...

Isn't this one of the coolest things to come along in the last little bit? I mean homebrew and ISO's are cool and all, but this will make it SO much better..

let us rejoice for the good news is at hand! i was finally losing hope, and here behold!

its really great news, now time to save up some money to buy this baby.

but like other people, i am one of those who suck in solderning.

another thing is that, im not sure if its gonna be available here in my country.

i just hope things go on just right, since having a 2.7 PSP is basically holding back the PSP's potential.

and yes i agree, ALL HAIL THE SUCKERS (this includes me) WHO UPDATED TO 2.7!!!
