I think sony should make a little mmorpg type game and maybe have some sort of premium side to so people can access new areas/monsters and such..what do you all think about it?

Well it could be a good idea but it wouldn't work if you have a $300 door stopper aka paper weight.

i've been wanting to make an mmorpg cause i hate runescape and here people are talking about how great it is....of course me being how naive i can be i thought i could do it too bad servers cost money and of course its hard to find people that will want to work with you when you've never put out any work before

with that being said sony should do that give me final fantasy XI lite

i played runecape for about 2 seconds and closed it lol totaly hated the graphics on it, i like to make my own games too.. i would rather get into making games for PSP consoles though.. makes it more fun i know quite alot of coding in LUA... although you are giving everyone the source everytime you release... so anyone can edit it and make their own.. so i think i might go to C++ or a web based game lol

I think it would be an awesome idea to have Final Fantasy XI. Imo, that was one of the best mmorpg's ever. The only bad part about ti was leveling up. Other then that. I loved it. Besides if they can make it for PS2, why can't they make it for psp and make it look close to the ps2 version, maybe even as good as the ps2 after some Beta's come out or something. O well sony will never listen to the people

when i get my mac i'll start to learn LUA maybe cause i heard its good to have learned a different programing language before you take on C++ or maybe not i dunno

wouldnt it be easyer to make a web style and turn based orpg thing example neopets style but the site is specialy designed for PSP and you have a character and do all the normal RPG stuff and maybe battle other players/monsters ect ect..

Hmm.....well Im pretty sure LUA or C# can do this, using ADHOC.
Dont ask me to do it, I have no clue how to use the PSP Online Interface.

but in actuallity a browser based would be harder because you have lot more restrictions in terms of graphics and sounds in order to get a game running decently w/o lag thats why runescape this and runescape that and runescape is so great its just because they made a 3D browser game when in reality it blows because if you want to do anything you have to go and grind your stats for a yr before you can do anything

I mean....I have no idea how the coding of it works. I know how to use it XD
Speaking of 3D im gonna go download that Doom thing someone released.

Well...now that I think about it your idea sort of sounds like the new Final Fantasy game that came out recently.
I played it and it was awesome. But even though sony didnt make it does it really matter who made it?
