HUGE MISTAKE

:cry: I DOWNLOADED THE 3.52 UPDATE FROM SONY LIKE 2 DAYS AGO AND NOW I JUS FOUND OUT I CANT DO ANYTHING WITH MY PSP AND I CANT DOWNGRADE IT...THIS SUX!!!!.....i cant do ANYTHING at all thats not official????

saddly no... Another downgrader will eventually come out, just hang in there!

Your only chance is the new pandora's battery trick. You'll need a spare battery which you can get off ebay fairly cheap or buy one in stores.

In fact, you can... I'm not going to recommend anything, but with the release of "pandora's battery" (seen on our front page), it seems ALL PSP systems, regardless of version or hardware, are able to be downgraded. I'm sorry I can't give more details right now, as I haven't tried it to unbrick my second psp yet.

Like I said, I'm not completely sure yet, but there are many people that are saying that they've done such a thing already. I made a post in the "release thread" about this as well. I'm going to read into this and write a tutorial based on my findings and hopefully create a FAQ based off of it as well, so stick around pspbrew for a day or two and I'm thinking that everything will be sorted out for you.

No promises... but high probability ;)

Sure thing, it's what I'm here for. I'm staying up extra late to make sure I am prepared to help people with this sort of thing. I guess that'll give you a reason to stick around here huh? lol. What I don't understand yet is how someone could downgrade the 3.52 if it isn't bricked... but people are saying that they just used the "pandoras battery" normally and it deleted their flash and rewrote the partial version 1.50 files which enabled them to upgrade to any firmware that they wanted to.

I'm reading/ helping people out on 3 different psp sites right now so as soon as I know, I'll have my findings posted SOMEWHERE here - hopefully in the form of a tutorial soon.

make sure you have an EXTRA batt... your pandora's battery won't be able to function as a normal one again...

i have an extra batt in an old cracked psp im gonna use that one...but thanx for tha heads up

I'm thinking you can get the battery to work normally again if you do this.

1. turn psp off
2. plug in ac cord
3. restart psp
4. put in jig kick battery
5. open battery tool again
6. choose option "[]| (square)
7. you should then have a normal battery again. ~UNTESTED~ but I think it should work

thanx....but in the pandoras battery the files i downloaded onto my psp were corrupted...why???
