cw cheat problems

Im having real trouble converting my final fantasy 7 cheats or making them work im not sure. I have cw cheat installed and i used the converter to make my save files compatable. But when i load it ingame and load the memory card to slot one on the pro duo it says ok! indicating its worked then i go to load teh save and there cards are emty. I dont have any idea what im doing wrong? Iv even tried renaming my memory card file to the game code SCUS_94164 but still have no joy... any ideas? can som1 help me get my saves workin?
