Maybe because you didn't but the "pandora" folder in the local drive of your computer and it couldn't read because probably something in the "pandora" folder is missing.Did you read the steps carefully?

yeah, i read it around 3 times over(a.d.d+o.c.d)
i clicked extract and i clicked (C:) and it extracted.
but then i did the cmd and it couldnt find the file.
i tried it with it in the folder and with it out of the folder it was in and still no luck.

p.s)
do you know if there will be a downgrader any time within the next few months for 3.90?
and i tried 2 get the 3.90m33 and it wouldnt let me upgrade cause of course, im already at 3.90.(gaynesssss)

thanking you in advance for at least attempting 2 help me out.

I seriously doubt downgraders will be released. pandora does everything... downgraders aren't needed anymore.

You can't just try and run 3.90 m33 on an official 3.90 psp. That update is for people already on a custom firmware.

you are the man! lol even tho what you gave me wasnt the problem i was having cause my driver is c:, but you did help me see what i really stupid thing i was doing. insted of typing that program with cd i really didnt need 2.
but i ran into another problem. on step 17 of the tutorial, it says to copy the msipl.bin file from the mem.stick. to my computer.
but theres not msipl.bin file. and also when i run the pandora firm. instaler it doesnt actuly instal anything but acts like its running a game and then comes back with an alert saying ''game could not be started. (8002014C)''

(and also, there was corrupted data around the instaler and creator.)

and thanks for informing me on that, i always kind of looked at the custom firmware as a type of homebrew.

haha, kinda.
i actuly did do all the steps tho but i just didnt need to type cd in the cmd prompt.
and im kinda P.O.ed at the fact that im stuck again. i followed all instructions 2 pretty much the letter and now i read somthin that says i may have had 2 do that on a psp that has the homebrew instaled on it. :(

Firmwares are like the operating system of your psp... before pandora's putting a custom firmware on your psp was a slightly risky process because if your psp bricked you had pretty much no way to fix it. Now it doesn't really matter all that much since we have pandoras...

Oh, and I have yet to find a method that makes the memory card w/o a homebrew psp.

You need a psp running a custom firmware to do it...

If you do have one and it's giving you that error, go into recovery and change your kernel.

If you don't have one, well, get one.
