Usb to flash drive..

Does anyone know if it would be possible to mod your psp so it thinks the firewire port is the flash card so you could run stuff off lets say an ipod hd. Or to somehow solder a usb cord to some kindof flash card that would fit in the card slot on the psp.

Use a micro usb to USB female cable to connect it, that is not a firewire port.
No idea on the rest though.

Okay well regardless of what the port on the top of your psp is called. Someone with some wiring/soldering skills should try and attach an ipod or external HD cord to a 32mb flash stick and see if they can get acess to the entire HD or something.

Like I said, you could use a micro usb male to USB female for the connection, you just would just need a piece of homebrew to instruct the psp to read the ipod's hd.

it wouldnt work because the psp is not a usb host..
