Buying a new stick.

I'm gonna buy this one.

A friend says it works with his custom firmware despite being 4GB, so I'm gonna give it a go.

My question is, what process do I have to go through? Do I have to do the whole magic stick thing that I did for my 1 gig again or can I just drag and drop the files from the stick I have already?

are you going to use it to downgrade? or just put games and music on?
the 4gig has problems when trying to use it as a MMS. But i have a 4gig for my games and it works great.

For...hard-copies of games you mean?

No, my friend definitely has CFW running and he can use a 4gig stick as a MMS stick. A lot of people can...it just depends if you get lucky.

So, can I just copy and paste the files?

He means just games, like psp games and psx games and such. Homebrew mostly.

But yea, like you said you can take a chance of trying to use a 4gb as a mms, you just got to get lucky. I haven't made a mms in the past, but I believe the way way you could copy and paste the files is if you were doing it on the same psp. Correct me if I am wrong. I'd just go through the original process of making the mms to be safe.

Just to be sure though, you only need a pandora's battery on psp's with official firmware, if it has custom firmware you can upgrade/downgrade it to whatever firmware you want.

Yeh I noticed that after. I'll make sure to buy a Pro Duo ;P

Maybe I'll check target as well as Play. Are Target american or do they have an English site?

Target is american based, but I think they might have some stores based in the U.K/Europe
Just google target.co.uk and see what comes up.
