Hi, I got a problem.

I have a slim psp with 4.01 M33 CFW. I want to use the cheatdevice for GTA:LCS but it only supports up to 3.91 M33. I was directed to use devhook to emulate 2.0 to 2.6. However when I went to start devhook version 0.46 it gave me the "game could not be started"

I'm assuming devhook isn't updated to support the 4.01 firmware?

No. Devhook is for emulating later firmwares on 1.50 or 1.0.

You shouldn't have trouble using CWCheats If thats what you're referring to.

Did you try using the gta cheat device?

I was referring to cheatdevice from cheatdevice.com. I wasn't aware of CWCheats thanks.

Yeah. It didn't work the problem was cheatdevice for LCS only works up till 3.91. I have 4.01

Yeah. I'm getting VCS soon. But I wanted to try it on LCS first. Maybe ill have better luck with VCS. It worked with 4.01?

Yeah, it works great on it.
On cheatdevice.com though, they have the LCS one too. I think it works on 4.01 if you follow the installation instructions right.

One major problem people have is not enabling the plug-in. You have to put it in the game.txt file in X:/SEPlugins/ instead of VHS.txt then enable it on the recovery menu. That's what I did wrong. Maybe you made that mistake too.
