Another 80020148 help question

Hello all,

I have recently downloaded a game (Cloudy with a chance of meatballs!!), but when I try to run it I am getting the 80020148 error.

Am using 3.90 M33 and have not had problems with other games previously. I did however recently install the CXMB theme thingy, and have a custom theme. Not sure if there was a setting that I changed while trying to get this running that could be causing the problem ?

Any SIMPLE suggestions appreciated!!

Thanks

Upgrade to a better (by better, I mean newer) custom firmware, because I'm pretty sure the newer games don't work correctly on the older firmwares, unless their sony firmwares, in which case you have to update anyway.

5.00 m33, give it a try.

So you load up cloudy with a chance of meatballs, the screen goes black and shows you back to the XMB?

Makes sure that you either-, Have a disc inside your psp (any game obv) or-, have NO UMD turned on in recovery menu.

Grr that error code is infamous to me, it pops up at random times and I have no idea what the solution is. Try changing different settings in the recovery mode. Maybe it is the ISO itself?

Must be the ISO itself! Have tried all the different options in recovery mode but still no joy!!

Thanks, will have to try download another version of it.
