I'm totally new at this and need some serious help. What's a downgrader? & i was wondering, you know how downloads from this site are down, well does anyone know another site i can download games onto my psp?

You've got a few options. You can downgrade to 1.50. You can use a HEN for 3.03 but does not have compatibility with all homebrew, or you can downgrade to 1.50 and upgrade to 3.03OE-C which allows you to play psone games, all homebrew, and have all the benefits of 3.03 Internet browser etc.

^ there is another way to check to see if the GTA LCS game is unpatched, without putting the UMD in the psp. The difference is on the "binding" of the game case under the "game logo" where there will be a different code. I can't remember the code exactly but a quick search on pspupdates.qj.net will lead you in the right direction (in case you need to purchase one).
