1. You will need to revert your battery back to normal so you can use the battery again.
2. You can downgrade using Pandora's Battery.

side note - Check the bottom of the tutorial I linked you to earlier. It has Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and answers.

Now, as pacman knows, you dont have to reconvert your battery back using the booster way. Nothing against booster but i still reccomend converting back. I wonder if you can put the slim battery into the old fat psp? Then copy the serial code from it. And if you forgot to copy your code just press the L and R button (i think) and it will make a fake serial code. Try to back it up next time though. And find a friends battery, copy their code, then flash it back onto your battery. Worked with me at least.

The slim uses the same battery as the current psp, but it comes standard with a higher voltage so it lasts longer without the need for you to charge it.

I also wouldn't necessarily recommend keeping the pandora's battery as the default battery, however, I'd make sure to read about the news bulliten I've written on the front page of our site. It details a method in which you can start your PSP up without changing the Pandora's Battery back to normal. Some people may opt to use that method.

yeah, you should go and buy a new battery before you use the pandora trick. You'd hate to have a non-portable psp afterwards wouldn't you...

I think you'd have to be a fool to use the Pandora's Battery and PERMANENTLY ruin a normal battery. There's a good couple ways to make one normal again.

Its weird. I made the Pandora battery and made the Magic stick(1gb). Then i copied the contents of the stick to another stick without formating this stick(4gb).
So now when i put the 1gb in with the battery it goes to service mode but when i put the 4gb memory stick in with the pandora battery it works normal(sony comes up and all) So then i deleted the contents from the 4gb and put my old files back on their and it still does the same. Turns on normal with a pandora battery. (i didnt use BOOSTER either.)

It isnt that confusing

I used my 4gb the first time to make the pandora battery and it worked. And besides if you dont have the memory stick in and just the pandora battery shouldnt it not come on at all.

I've done the Pandora way 4 times. Pandora is the ultimate homebrew..
