So I just bought a PSP from this guy and he was like, are you buying this to use Homebrew? I looked at him like an idiot for awhile until he told me to come here. So here I am.
I've kinda looked around to check out what kind of info I could find on Homebrew, what it is, and how to do it, but I'm tired of searching and figured I'll just ask for some directions.
I've got a PSP with version 2.60. I also have a version TA-O82 mobo. I have GTA: LCS.
What the hell do I do? Can somebody point me in the right direction.

I went to the Sony site ... they're at like 3.71.
Where (and how) do I get 3.03?

WHAT EVER YOU DO DON'T UPDATE TO 3.71.
Upgrade to 3.03 then downgrade to 1.5 then update to 3.52 M33-4 Custom firmware. If you look in the tutorial part of this forum you will find all the tutorials you need.

I'm going to go on sounding stupid...
I downloaded the 3.03 eboot ... how do I install it?
Nevermind... I did it.
Okay...
I'm all set up with V. 1.5 BUT ... when I got to the end of the tutorial, the NetConfigBackup application says that it can't start.
I now have no internet capabilities. Is this right?

Ok, first of all don't triple post. I didn't really read all this thread but, all you had to do was upgrade to 2.80 and then downgrade without the need of even using gta... But whatever that's besides the point.
So you are at v1.50? If so, don't worry about netconfig. The 1.50 didn't even have internet capabilities anyways (at least, not by normal means). Just upgrade to a custom firmware and you should be set. There's several different tutorials on installing the custom firmwares in our tutorials section.
Even if the netconfig app would've worked, it wouldn't have did you any good. Seeing as the internet browser didn't come out till like 1.52 or 2.0 or something.
