Infrared questions

Well im sure just about everyone remembers the old GameBoy Colors.. They have a infrared on the top of them and you would use that to do Mystery Gift on Pokemon (Gold/Silver/Crystal). Well anyway i was thinking about it and an idea came to me.. I am wondering if it is possible to use infrared with the gameboy color and your homebrew enabled psp (original) both playing one of those pokemon games...to use Mystery Gift.

Also this just came to me.. Using your PSP (original) as a TV Remote kind of thing.. since a normal tv remote is infrared (well at least i think it is) Is there a program that can actualy do that? If so let me know i would like to try this out :P It would so come real handy to annoy my mates lol

Cheers

I'm not really aware of a infrared compatibility in gpsp, but you can check out a list of its features or something. I am also unaware of the way the mystery gift works on pokemon games. I would just say give it a try with another psp or gameboy color and let us know. But if all it needs is an infrared signal then im sure you can use a tv remote, as long as it isn't sending any important data.

While we are on the subject, anyone know where/how I can get codes for my "Emerson" tv for IRshell? I remember last time I tried I couldn't find the codes or something. You can pm me the answer or whatever.

3.40 only has oe-a ;) 3.03 is the one that has oe-a, oe-b, & oe-c. It also works with the M33 firmwares too. But I don't have much experience with it, and by using that program im starting to think when I flashed to 3.52M33, the thing musta like corrupted my PICTURES folder XD nothing can access it at all, unless I go into recovery menu. That and I can't view the "Information" for any file either. Sheese im just going to go back to 3.40oe-a.

Hey ace. Move your photos folder to the root of your memory stick and rename it PICTURES ....That fixes it.

And the new IRshell runs on 3.71 M33 no problem. Im runnign fat version

It already is like that, and always has been. That isn't the problem. It's either something wrong with the theme or the actual firmware. Even when I try to go to usb mode it freezes, I have to use the recovery menu to get it to work. I think I might just reflash 3.52 again, try it out and then put a new theme on my psp. Hopefully that will fix all my problems.

Are you trying to say that Pandora doesnt work for you? is the installer not working or the whole thing or what? It works for me no problem. Sony uses this way so it should work for everyone.

Well what directory is your pics in ace?
