Description:
Homebrew developer Raphael sent QJ.NET an email regarding the new build for his pet application JoySens, bumping it up to v1.01. To those who missed our earlier coverage on this one, note that it is actually a CFW plugin that lets users tweak the sensitivity of their PSP's analog stick.
JoySens v1.01 is essentially the same as the previous version but the most important change in this build is that the pluging has been made compatible to DAX's 3.40 OE and Team M33's custom firmwares - two custom firmwares that are being use the most currently by the homebrew scene.
Anyway, Raphael mentioned that the problem was that JoySens requires kernel mode to hook the controller functions. The good thing about the two custom firmwares is that they have additional security checks that avoids kernel mode modules to load if they link to user mode functions.
Anyway, JoySens v1.01 comes with a Readme file, complete with installation guide and reminders from the developer. Browse through tha first before installing this on your PlayStation Portable.
