Description:
Because we like customizations and libraries that make our PSPs more interesting, it's always nice to have something to help us on that department. And Glynnder has been making quite a ruckus during the past few days. And that's "ruckus" as a compliment: snaps for him, he's got a whole smorgasbord of nifty little utilities, functions, apps, and tools on LUA. And here's another one.
ssLib v0.2 BETA allows you to add a screensaver with just one line of code. There's just two screensaver types in this version (scrolling and teleporting text), and Glynnder still plans to improve this function a whole deal more. Take for example, setting a delay. He's also calling for suggestions of possible screensavers (hey, Glynnder! How 'bout a QJ-themed screensaver?) to put into the next update.
Here's how to use the app:
1. before the main bit of your script, (the while true do bit), type: dofile("ssLib.lua")
2. then, when you want the scrolling screensaver to appear type this: ssscroll(size, colour, speed, message)
3. when you want the teleporting one to appear type: sstele(size, colour, speed, message)
For more info, the readme will explain everything for you. It's easy enough to follow.
