Description:
A small man facing terrible danger in a big world.
Reaching for his sword, he prepares to fight to become the best.
Yodajr is just such a man, facing numerous other contestants vying for fame in this year's Neo Flash Summer Coding Contest. His sword? Another small man, facing terrible danger in a big world, and his name is Link.
Link's on a (2D) plane once again as yodajr releases his entry for the Neo Flash Summer Coding Contest: The Stroke of Link. The source of Link is a remake of the PC game Ruta Stroke, using the graphics and sounds from The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap and Brunni's OSLib.
Like your standard puzzle/platformer game (minus actual platforms), there are a lot of levels. 65, in fact. The objective in each level is simple: collect all the rupees to summon the sword, and then get to the sword without dying. You can move around with the d-pad or analog nub (because there's not enough stick to call it an analog stick), turn off the music with the triangle button, and access the general menu with the start button.
The premise is simple, but you can't help but like the execution, as The Minish Cap was a well-loved game and seeing Link in a new adventure of sorts is kinda nice. If you're looking for something to take away boredom while walking around or waiting for the Wii to come out, The Stroke of Link will definitely help.
