Description:
Homebrew coder suloku has dropped by our forums to release his latest project, Dissidia Clocker. Developer's note:This application has two purposes: Serve as an application example of modifying the psp date and time from a homebrew (since I couldn't find any). Be run before playing Dissidia Final Fantasy to mantain bonus day. This can be done trough xmb, but I personally use iRshell, meaning I have to exit to xmb, change time, return to iRshell and then launch the game. With this I run the Clocker, press square, then start and run Dissidia with a 00:00:00 clock. I might say that this way is a little quicker than running all form the xmb. That's it, you can change date and time, and the day of the week (saturday, monday...) is displayed. It should be impossible to enter an invalid date and time (I used the same limits as in the xmb).I don't know if any other game may take advantage of this application.Since I had the code, I converted it to a plugin. You can either add it to VSH.txt (time reset every time you boot) or to GAME.txt (time reset every time you run a game/app).It may be useful for someone, as it skips the need to change the hour before running Dissidia. It will always set the time and date to 2011 July 23 00:00:00, but for some reason the psp will put the hour to 01:00:00 (02:00:00 if Daylight saving is enabled). I don't know why this happens, but I'm not gonna bother trying to solve it, I don't think many people play 23-24 hours non-stop.
