Description:
Beardface has developed a new homebrew application for the Wii coders out there who want to try out new things on their Wii. It's called EasyIOS v0.1.2, and it allows users to browse the device tree and try out quick IOS commands without doing builds.Beardface notes in his disclaimer that the only people who should be using it are the folks who know why they are using it.Furthermore, there's a warning on top of the Wiki page with all this information that says that this may contain malicious code, so you should be well warned by now about the application. That being said, if you know why you're using this homebrew, and aren't afraid of the file, here's the changelog for the application from version 0.1 onwards.EasyIOS v0.1.2 * Fixed bug causing crash related to overrunning the log * Added easy to use Byte (binary mode) adding interface * Fixed debug messages going to log. (More useful/detailed) * Speed improvements related to allocating memory * Fixed padding of bytes so output is easier to read * Added build flags so EasyIOS can build under cygwin, linux or osx * Added new devices based on changes on the IOS wikieasyIOS v0.1.1 * Made 0 a valid fd * Implemented fix (hopefully) for timeout of video * fixed wrong value in ioctlv command * More debug during runeasyIOS v0.1 * Fix data payload on ioctlv message so its extendible * Add Makefile.linux to build linux exec for testing * Clean up menu printing so it doesn't scroll
